SkiSparks: Ski for Fun
What is SkiSparks?
SkiSparks is an eight-week MYSL Club Program that gives kids the opportunity to learn cross-country skiing. We use a research-based curriculum with six skill levels that focuses on FUNdamentals and physical literacy. There are 25 clubs across Minnesota and Wisconsin that meet once per week in the winter for 1.5-2 hours. All clubs are completely volunteer run and low cost ($35-$45 per membership). Each child (and only the children) need memberships. Club equipment rentals or chalet rentals are available at most locations.
Please see link/pdf below that summarize MYSL Program Options.
As a SkiSparks MYSL Club Member your child will receive an MYSL fleece hat (in their first season) and a level pin at the end of every season. There is also an online K Counter and awards that are given for 100k/50k/25k skied over the season.
MYSL sponsors a wide selection of events to complement our Club programming. See the "MYSL Program Options" PDF below as well at the Events link on the top menu.
