The Best Swap for Good Quality, Used Kids, Junior and Adult Equipment!
The Minnesota Youth Ski League is pleased to host this big event, open to the entire public. The sale is being held as a fundraiser for MYSL and provides skiers, of all sizes and ages, the opportunity to sell outgrown and little used equipment and clothing. We request that sellers limit merchandise to items that are directly related to cross country skiing. No three-pin bindings, downhill gear or bicycles, please! 20% of the sale price and $1 per item, will be retained by MYSL.
The following merchandise is considered appropriate for this sale:
*cross-country skis, boots, bindings and poles (current binding systems only unless on wooden skis)
*ski related clothing
*waxing irons, benches and other waxing paraphenalia
Sellers: There is a check-in period on Friday and Saturday. You will receive a tag for each item. At this time you will be charged a $1 service charge per item (bring cash). We request that you price your merchandise reasonably (whole dollars only). If you are unsure of how to price your items, we will advise at check-in. You may pick up your money and/or any unsold equipment from 2:30 to 3:30pm on Saturday. Any merchandise not claimed by 3:30pm will be considered a donation to the Minnesota Youth Ski League.
If you have more than four items we ask that you preregister by downloading the spreadsheet below, filling in your info and emailing it to Amy. If you need pricing advice, please include a group picture of your items. You will not be charged the $1 per item fee if you pre-register. Spreadsheet deadline is Thursday midnight.
Tips on selling high end skis ($150+). Skis must be clean of all kick and glide wax. Skis with bindings sell better. A piece of tape with the flex range is really, really helpful.
Vendors: Contact Amy for information on how to participate.
Buyers: We use tickets for timed entry into the swap. We hand out tickets beginning at 9am, for the 11:00am swap start time. Get your swap ticket and stay for the Expo and Seminars. The sale is popular and busy, so come early for the best selection. There is a separate section for youth (approximate sizing for 6th graders and below). Volunteer staff members will be available to provide assistance and fit skis. Displayed prices are considered non-negotiable and all sales are final. You can expect to find some of the best bargains in town!
Please pay by check to save us the credit card processing fee.
Touring equipment is not our main business, but we have a great selection. No need to fight the crowds. Just show up at 12:30pm.
Equipment Donations: MYSL accepts donations of all sizes of ski equipment with a current binding system (SNS or NNN). Leading up to the swap, we have drop-off locations for your donations.
You can also drop off items at the Ski Swap on Friday 4:30-6:30pm or Saturday between 9-10:00am. Email Amy for a tax receipt or pictures of items you are not sure about. Thank you for supporting MYSL!
