Pardon me, I have to brag for a moment.

I think the kids in the DL Youth Ski League are going to be the best skiers EVER. Period. A HUGE thank you to all the kids and parents who joined our club yesterday, I had a ridiculous amount of fun. (Even if we were just carrying our skis around the warming house for a while doing "sneaky steps". :))

I was absoultely blown away by the kids yesterday who came out to brave the chilly temps and put skis on for the first time. There were about 10 kids who came, with about 10 or so more who called to say they couldn't make it yesterday but will be there next week. And everyone took to skis like ducks to water, so this has the makings of a fantastic season. For the parents of anyone who couldn't make it yesterday: Don't worry!! You can still come out and join us next week. Just come out a little early if you need equipement as there are still a few pairs of skis available for rental in a variety of sizes.

There is another 3"-5" of snow predicted today so keep up those snow dances!
