Welcome to North Metro Silver Skis

Silver Skis is primarily targeted at experienced skiers at or beyond level 5 who are interested in improving their endurance and learning some race level skills. Race participation is supported but not required. Our main goal, as always, is to have fun! Generally the ages for this group are between 10-14 years old. Skiers must belong to one of the regular MYSL clubs in order to participate in Silver Skis. The general format for Silver Skiers is two group skis a week; on one day we ski with the local club, and on another day of the week we ski with just the Silver Skis group.

Registration: Please Register with the North Metro Silver Skiers at mysl.org

Location: Various; Wild River State Park, Trollhaugen, North Branch Golf Course, etc...

Equipment: Both Skate and Classic equipment is required

Weather/Cancellation Policy: Cancellations due to extreme cold weather, wind chill, etc... will be announced via email or phone calls

Parking & other Fees: State Park entry fee, and state park trail fees (if over 16 yrs old), $5/skier per day skier fee at Trollhaugen
