***Please do not pay for equipment rental online...we are charging $25 per set for the season and that can be paid when the equipment is fitted and picked up. ***

***We will be having our equipment rental night on December 13, 2011, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Mt. Itasca in Coleraine. ***

***We are currently in need of all parents to help out with all levels. If you can spare two hours per week to volunteer,  please contact Wally or Kathy at the number below. ***

The first meeting for the Itasca Club is scheduled for January 8, 2012 from 1 to 3 pm at Mount Itasca in Coleraine. We will meet for eight consecutive Sundays weather permitting. Membership is $30 per child prior to November 15, 2011, when the price goes up by $5 per child. The price will also increase another $5 after December 15, 2011, so register early. Registration will be online this year, so bring a receipt with you to our ski rental evening to verify your paid registration. Our equipment rental night will be December 13, 2011, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Ski equipment will be available to rent on a first come/first served basis. The cost for the equipment is $25 per set for the season.

We have hot cocoa and cookies available on Sundays to help warm up fingers. We will have a sign up list on registration night to sign up to bring treats.

Parents are welcome to participate with their child/children, or are welcome to ski with another level to hone their skills.

We will not meet if the temp is -10˚F or lower or if the wind chill is -15˚F or lower. Please call the number listed for Coach Wally and Coach Kathy to check for any messages concerning weather conditions and if we will be meeting on Sunday. This phone number will also have information as to where we will meet if it changes from Mt. Itasca for any reason (such as in case of a ski event being held, biathlon event, or ski jumping event). We have set the -10/-15˚ parameters, but it is always the parent's choice if they don't wish to expose their child/children to the weather conditions.
